This Summer
(이번 여름)
"Settle down, class. We have only two weeks left of school. So today, I want you to write about what you will do during your summer vacation."
	"집중하세요, 여러분…. 학교수업이 이제 2주밖에 안 남았어요. 그래서 오늘, 저는 방학동안에 여러분들이 할 것들에 대해 써 봤으면 해요."
This is easy! I know exactly what I will do this summer, and I can't wait for it to start. I will go to my grandparents' house. They live up north beside a large lake.
	그건 쉽지! 난 이번 여름에 할 것을 정확히 알고 있고, 방학이 시작하는 것을 기다릴 수가 없습니다. 난 할아버지 할머니 집에 갈 것입니다. 그들은 북쪽의 큰 호수 옆에 살고 계십니다.
The lake is never too cold, and it is so clear that I can see right to the bottom. I love the water so much that my grandmother sometimes calls me "Fish".
	그 호수는 결코 차지 안고, 너무 깨끗해서 바닥까지 바로 볼 수 있습니다. 내가 물을 너무 좋아해서 할머니가 가끔 절 "물고기"라고 부릅니다.
I will swim in the lake all morning until my grandmother calls me in for lunch. I never get bored of swimming.
	나는 할머니가 점심 먹으라고 부를 때까지 아침 내내 호수에서 수영할 것입니다. 나는 절대로 수영이 지겹지 않습니다.
Early in the morning, my grandfather and I will go fishing on his boat. If we are lucky, we will catch a big fish. It is very quiet and peaceful out on the lake.

After lunch, there are many chores to be done. My favorite chore is helping my grandfather mow the lawn. He has a big lawnmower that I can ride.

We will also clean the boat. My grandfather will fix the engine, and I will polish the inside and outside of the boat.

After the chores are done, I will play again. Last year, I made a fort high up in a big oak tree. I have some friends who come and play with me in my tree fort. They are John and Tina. We will do many fun things together.

One of our favorite things is to wait for the ice-cream truck to come around. When the truck comes, we will run down from the fort and buy an ice-cream cone. My favorite flavor is chocolate. Mmm! Yummy.
	우리들이 제일 좋아하는 일들 중의 하나는 주변을 지나가는 아이스크림 트럭을 기다리는 것입니다. 트럭이 올 때, 우리는 요새에서 내려가서 아이스크림을 사먹을 것입니다. 내가 가장 좋아하는 맛은 초콜렛 맛입니다. 음!
John, Tina and I love to go to the beach. At the beach, we will build a sandcastle. Last year, we made one that was almost as tall as me.
	존과 티나와 나는 해변에 가는 것을 매우 좋아합니다. 해변에서, 우리는 모래성을 짓습니다. 작년에, 우리는 거의 나 만큼 큰 모래성을 지었습니다.
At 5:00, I will have supper with my grandparents. My favorite meal is barbecued hamburgers with corn on the cob. My grandmother is the best cook in the world.

After dinner, my grandmother, grandfather and I will watch the sunset. The sun looks very beautiful as it sets into the lake.

At night we will sit around a campfire and my grandfather will tell me stories. Some are scary and some are funny, but they are always interesting. Sometimes my grandmother lets me roast marshmallows over the fire.
	밤에 우리는 모닥불 주변에 앉을 것이고 할아버지가 나에게 이야기를 들려주실 것입니다. 어떤 것들은 무섭고 어떤 것들은 재미있습니다, 하지만 이야기들은 항상 흥미롭습니다. 때때로 나의 할머니는 내가 불 위에 머쉬멜로우를 구울 수 있게 해주십니다.
	Soon I will get tired and it will be time for bed. But I don't mind going to bed because I will be able to do everything again the very next day. I really love …
